Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. The insurance must have a minimum medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage of 200,000. Embark America also recommends coverage for cancellation, curtailment and any other expense that may be incurred via result of loss, injury, delay or inconvenience that may occur to the client. Proof of insurance is required upon beginning of tour.
Itinerary
Due to the nature of adventure travel, all itineraries are subject to change. Client will be contacted about any changes made before tour begins and informed of their options. Once tour departs changes to itinerary may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as but not limited to weather, safety, client comfort and enjoyment. Clients acknowledge they are prepared with reasonable resources to cover unexpected expenses due to unforeseen changes in the itinerary.
Risk and Liability
The client acknowledges that risk is inherent due to the nature of Embark America tours. The client is acknowledging these health and safety risks and that they are willing to assume them when booking a tour. The client hereby assumes all such risk and releases Embark America from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages, injuries, losses or death inherent in travel.
The client acknowledges and agrees that they will comply with all laws of the region or country visited. The client is also expected to respect and not endanger fellow clients on the tour. Clients who break local law, cause danger, create unnecessary risk or cause distress or material annoyance to others may have their tour terminated without refund.
Clients agree that they are responsible for any cost occurred to Embark America, Embark America suppliers or partners as a result of destruction, theft or damage caused by the client on tour.
Clients agree to bring complaints to the Embark America as soon as possible in order to address them in a timely manner. Embark America holds no liability to complaints not made in a timely fashion. Any complaint after the completion of a tour must be received by Embark America or one of its agents with 15 days of the tours completion.
Embark America is not liable and will not assume responsibility for any claims, loss, damages of third party suppliers or any independent contractors.
